Soupault was a more confidential lens maker from the end of XIXth.

Hera a very late petzval handmarked 1896 on glasses. It’s called “optique de précision” because Soupault Petzval had increased sharpness and a little less of spherical aberration.

It’s a lens dedicated to portraiture work on 8x10 or 10x12 plates.

Glasses are in beautiful condition (a dent on rear element) and rack’n pinions are working well. Flange is include (see 10x10 Ruckhert camera … flange is still on lensboard).
